Delete your Snag account
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Snag is a bug-capture and triage service provided by Prodignite Private Limited (trading as “The Product Highway”). This page explains how to request deletion of your Snag account and the data associated with it.
How to request account deletion
- Email tools@theproducthighway.com from the email address on your Snag account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- We verify the request is from the account owner and confirm by reply. If you administer any workspaces, we will tell you which will be removed so shared data is not deleted by surprise.
- Once confirmed, we delete your account and process the request within 30 days.
Workspace admins can also self-serve today: in the Snag web app, a workspace admin can delete a workspace from its settings, which removes that workspace’s projects, snags, comments, and attachments.
What data is deleted
- Your account and profile (email address and name);
- Your session tokens and personal access tokens;
- Your comments, activity, and assignments;
- Workspaces you solely own — including their projects, snags, comments, and uploaded files (screenshots, recordings, voice notes) in storage.
What is kept, and for how long
- Content in a shared workspace you do not solely own (for example, snags filed into a team’s workspace) is retained by that workspace unless its admin deletes it, so other members do not lose shared history.
- Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
- Minimal security and diagnostic logs (such as IP addresses and timestamps) are retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
